Spicy Grilled Chicken Salad

Serves : 10 -15 pieces

Prep time : 5 minutes + 15 minutes marinade

Cook time : 5 minutes



For kabab:

  • 500gm Chicken thigh or breast fillet or you can use ground chicken
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 big cloves of garlic
  • ½ tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp hot red chilli powder

For sauce:

  • 2 tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 tbsp. hot sauce


  1. In a food processor or meat mincer add chicken pieces and blitz for 2-3 times to ground the meat.
  2. Transfer the minced or ground chicken in a mixing bowl and combine together all the ingredients for kabab.
  3. Cover with a wrap and let it marinade for at least 10-15 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill pan.
  5. Using a tablespoon take a portion from the meat mixture and form a kabab and put them on a hot grill pan.
  6. Cook them in batches until they are nice and brown.
  7. Preheat a large non-stick pan, add melted butter and hot sauce together, add chicken kabab and toss over high heat. 
  8. Sprinkle handful of green onion on top. Serve with blue cheese dressing and fresh vegetables.
